Pike County residents had their health insurance questions answered today.
US Department of Health and Human Services Representatives were in Troy today educating residents about the affordable care act.
About 30 residents’ attended to the healthcare forum.
Organizers say even though they were not able to sign everyone up... Getting the information about the program was important.
"So being able to educate the public around what the Affordable Care Act is all about and who may be eligible we believe we need to get out into the community to make sure the information is available ," said Carlis Williams
Organizers hope to have more public forums over the next few months.
