Henry County had its 3rd Pesticide Clean Day.

It is all part of a two event.

Wednesday, Baldwin County collected 43,000 pounds and Henry County officials are hoping to beat that.

Once the farmers drop them off, they are put in safe packaging and are transported to a facility that burn will then at 2,000 degrees.

This prevents the pesticides from doing any harm to our environment.

Since the program started in Alabama in 1995, more than a million pounds of pesticides have been collected.
