ENTERPRISE, AL - At approximately 2226 hours on Dec. 15, 2012, the Enterprise Police Department responded to the 1500 Block of Hwy 84 in reference to a subject hit by an automobile. The victim was walking in the middle of Hwy 84 and was struck by an oncoming vehicle. It is unknown why the victim was walking in the roadway. The victim was transported by Flat Iron to Southeast Alabama Medical Center in critical condition. The victim was identified as Lilian Santelices-Retamal of Enterprise, AL. The accident is still under investigation by Enterprise Police Traffic Investigators
