UPDATE: Decatur Road Reopened After Logger Truck Reopens

Decatur Road is now open.

UPDATE: 12:50 p.m.

Over 40 gallons of diesel fuel has leaked out of an overturned logger truck.

The truck overturned on Decatur Road in Madrid, Friday morning.

Charles Crammer of Marianna was driving the truck. He has been taken to a Dothan hospital for injuries.

Houston County Emergency Management are directing crews to clean up the fuel, which is a hazardous material.

Decatur Road is still closed.
MADRID, AL - A log truck overturned on Decatur Road in Madrid Friday morning.

Houston County Sheriff's deputies and Dothan Hazmat are on the scene. Alabama State Troopers are investigating the cause.

It is unclear if there are injuries at this time.

Decatur Road has been closed for the time being.
