DECATUR, Ala. (AP) - The trial of a north Alabama couple accused of taking nearly $3 million in bribes on Army contracts will resume Monday in Decatur.

The trial of Eddie and Eurica Pressley was delayed Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday because of a sick juror. The snow and ice storm caused the trial to be postponed Thursday, and Friday was already scheduled as a day off.

The Pressleys are charged with bribery and money laundering. They are accused of taking $2.8 million in bribes stemming from the awarding of Army contracts in Kuwait. Eddie Pressley is a former Army major who worked as a contract specialist in Kuwait in 2004 and 2005.
