FORT RUCKER, Ala. – The new U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence and Fort Rucker commanding general has been announced:
Major General Kevin W. Mangum, to Commanding General, Aviation Center of
Excellence and Fort Rucker, Alabama. Mangum most recently served as Commanding General, United States Army Special Operations Aviation Command, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
Major General Anthony G. Crutchfield, Commanding General, Aviation Center of Excellence and Fort Rucker, Alabama, will take his next assignment as the Chief of Staff, United States Pacific Command, Camp H. M. Smith, Hawaii.
The USAACE change of command ceremony here is scheduled for August 10 at 9 a.m.
