New security rules will prevent overnight protests at the Florida State Capitol.
The rules now prohibit anyone from staying overnight in public areas of the capitol for any reason.
They also prevent un-authorized people from being in the capitol outside of normal business hours.
When there are legislative sessions or meetings after business hours, the capitol will be closed to visitors a half hour *after* the event ends.
No one will be allowed to sleep in public areas of the building.
A permit will be required to prepare food in hallways or public areas.
The rules were put in place after a group called "The Dream Defenders" held a month long protest when George Zimmerman was found not guilty of murder.
