Dothan police are out tonight, but not in patrol cars.
Officers are at the Civic Center for National Night Out.
They're enjoying a live concert by the Nelons and are even performing with their own group, the Apostle.
The event is fun, but it also raises money for neighborhood watch, a program officers say makes a big difference in crime.
Officers say it's not always available because of funding. They're hoping tonight will help the program in a big way.
