Liberty National Insurance Company is offering 100 people the opportunity to work for them.
Not only is the company bussing applicants to the interview site but one prominent person is conducting the interviews.
In a time when they seem to be scarce Liberty National is making sure jobs are available for the taking.
"He says you bring 100 people, I will help you interview those people and we'll pick you out ten or twelve good people out of that hundred and that's where it all started," said John Brooks, Dothan Branch Manager.
Brooks says he has worked for the company for more than 20 years.
In that time, the president of Liberty National has never interviewed applicants until now.
"In my opinion it's unusual for the president of a Fortune 500 company to want to conduct a job interview and so that's nice on that part of it, I mean I have agents that have been here for 15 years that have never met him," said Brooks.
The insurance company has two locations in Alabama, Dothan and Alexander City.
Charter buses will take up to 100 people from each location and drive them to Montgomery for the interview process.
"We're going to do of course the criminal background check side of it, the credit side of it and then we want that person that likes people," said Brooks.
Management training, sales and customer service representatives are needed to fill slots throughout the state.
There is no exact number of openings but Brooks says at least 14 are needed for the Dothan office.
"I hope that it is more than 10 or 12 to be honest with you because I can put 10 people to work in the morning, I can and I probably could add another 5 to 8 in December.,” said Brooks.
The interviews will be held next Wednesday, November 3rd.
If you would like to travel on the charter bus you can meet at the Northside K-Mart between 8:30 and 9 o'clock Wednesday morning.
Buses will take off at 9 am and are expected to return to Dothan by 4 pm.
Approximately 60 slots are still available on the charter bus.
