Albertville, Alabama police are investigating a murder at an apartment complex.
Detectives and drug investigators are at the governors place apartments on George Wallace drive.
Assistant Police Chief Jamie Smith said patrol officers found a body Saturday afternoon in one of the apartment units.
They are investigating the case as a homicide.
Police got a call around two o'clock in the afternoon and when they arrived at the scene, they found a body in the apartment.
Investigators said friends had not seen the victim for several days.
Police have not released the victim's name at this time.
