More Charges For Headland Shooting Suspect

The suspect in a Headland shooting is now facing more charges. Investigators say Braxton Morgan will see four more felony charges.

The counts are added to his attempted murder charges after allegedly firing at officers just a few weeks ago.

The new charges include: One count of kidnapping for allegedly holding his wife for more than an hour at gunpoint a week prior to the shooting. Two counts for unlawful possession of controlled substances.
Investigators say they found meth and heroin when searching a gun safe. And one more charge of installing a recording device in his home with the intent to eavesdrop on his wife.

He is being held in Henry County Jail on more than $380,000 bond.
