Mobile Police Seek Men They Say Took Car Keys

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Mobile police were searching for two men they say took a woman's car keys but left the vehicle behind.

The Press-Register reports that a 24-year-old woman told police she was driving when her cell phone rang around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The phone fell on the floor and she stopped to pick it up.

Police say two men armed with handguns approached and forced the
woman out of the car. The men searched the car, took the keys and
fled on foot. Police said it wasn't clear what caused the men to flee.

Police spokesman Officer Christopher Levy said Wednesday the driver was not injured.
