Men Brave the Wiregrass Commons Mall

The sales are on and the shoppers are out.

"I am but it's just for one last gift."

Now while many are here for the savings some are here for the, well.. let's just say support.

"I just can see everything, wait on my wife...She like shopping and I like taking her," says Phil Henry. And it's not just Henry who feels this way.

While women are hitting the sales racks, men find themselves warming the seats. And while this doesn't sound fun, most men take pleasure in this simple task.

"Well it's just nice to sit here and watch the traffic...Well she's got the money and a feller doesn't have any money there's no point in shopping," says Huston Stafford.

Ladies this may not seem like much but all the signs are there. The crossed legs, the folded arms and even the occasional watch check let's you know this isn't and easy job.

"We're at the mall here today...we were here yesterday and the day before that we were in Tallahassee and the day before that we were in Tallahassee at the mall."
So you've had a busy week.?
"Yeah..she likes to shop."

And with Christmas only four days away these endless days are likely to continue but only one thing keeps these men up to the task.

"All I'm waiting for is Christmas dinner...and she's a good cook," says Stafford.

And that makes these mall men ready for whatever comes their way.
