Man Robs Huntsville Homeless Shelter

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Huntsville police are seeking a man they
say robbed a homeless shelter armed with a piece of lumber.

Police tell The Huntsville Times the man entered the Breaking
Free Rescue Mission around 11:20 p.m. Friday.

Police say the man hit the clerk in the head with a piece of
wood. He then took undisclosed items and fled.

Police were investigating but say no arrests were immediately
made. The clerk declined medical treatment.
