Man Wanted on Sexual Assault Charge Found in Panama City Beach

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the US Marshal’s North Florida Fugitive Task Force, apprehended a man on Tuesday who was wanted for sexual assault in Alabama.

Task force members received a tip that Donald Emory Lacey, 43, was in Bay County on Panama City Beach. Lacey was wanted on a warrant out of Dothan, Alabama for rape.

A subsequent investigation revealed Lacey was living in a motel on Panama City Beach. Task Force members confronted Lacey and took him into custody without incident. Lacey was taken to the Bay County Jail to await extradition to Dothan, Alabama.
