OZARK -- The Ozark Boys & Girls Club spent Tuesday evening getting an education on healthy eating habits and the severity of eating disorders.
They watched clips of interviews from students around their ages who have been personally affected by an eating disorder. Fortunately, the girls in the SMART group at the Club said they do not think about losing weight.
According to the National Eating Disorders Association website, the 50% of young females and 33% of young males who are not satisfied with their body image.
This idea stemmed from National Eating Disorders Awareness Week. The week goes from February 23rd through March 1st.
