The Circle City Special Friends Exchange Club is the fourth of its kind in the country.
A local club is gearing up to feed those in need as Thanksgiving approaches.
"The Circle City Special Friends" exchange club met Tuesday night at Westgate Recreation Center to discuss their project for November.
They want to give back to the community. A variety of can food items were donated at the meeting by members dressed up as rock stars to promote another big project in December.
"The reason they're dressed up tonight is, they're rock and rolling for blood. They're trying to raise or trying to get one hundred people to donate blood on December 10th," says Bob Arnold, Incoming President of Exchange Clubs of Alabama.
The December 10th blood drive, sponsored by the exchange club will be held from 9a.m until 6p.m at the Westgate Recreation Center
