Well the rain isn't the only thing that came out today.
Gators were also out and about this morning at Landmark Park.
Today was the first of Landmark Park's Animal Adventures Program.
It will continue every Friday up until July 25th at 10:00 a.m.
The program focuses on different types of animals.
This week's four legged friend was the American alligator.
The Alabama Department of Conservation taught the kids all about the gators.
They even brought out two live ones, a four footer and a baby gator.
Next week they'll be learning about Alabama birds and get to see some up close.
Tickets are four dollars for adults and three dollars for kids.
