The Dothan Airport will now have some financial assistance to make improvements to part of the airport.
The authority met this morning to approve a $165,000 grant to start the designs of a new ramp.
According to Airport Director, Art Morris, the Airport will have to hire a civilian engineer in order for the process to start.
Once the design is complete, it will take three to five years for the upgrades to be complete.
