Jellyfish Mirgration Coming to Alabama Beaches

If you are headed to one of Alabama’s beaches this week, you may want to check the water before getting in.

That is because it is time for the annual jellyfish migration.
The creatures usually show up around July 4. Stings can be painful but lifeguards have discovered a cure.

"We use half and half ammonia and vinegar and add a little seawater and spray on there." Said Scott Smothers Lifeguard.

The best advice though is to avoid jellyfish all together.
