It's the Nuttiest Time of the Year in Dothan

DOTHAN -- Folks worked diligently on Wednesday afternoon to set up their part of the National Peanut Festival. Whether they were stapling colorful construction paper to their club's booth or scrubbing a ride attraction, the pre-festival festivities were definitely underway for this weekend.

Fun and agriculture are not the only components coming together to make a great festival. It takes an entire community to celebrate 70 successful years of the National Peanut Festival.

The gates open at 4:00 p.m. on Friday to kick-off the 2013 National Peanut Festival.
