Inmate Considered an Escapee from Work Release

MONTGOMERY - Inmate Tracy Fernard Woods, is considered an escapee from the Frank Lee Work Release Center. All appropriate law enforcement agencies were notified at the time of the escape.

On June 26, at approximately 9:50 p.m., a supervisor reported Woods missing from his job site in Montgomery, Alabama. Woods, 50, could not be located during a subsequent ADOC search of the location.

Woods is a black male, 5-feet, 6-inches tall, and weighs 165-pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

He was sentenced out of Tuscaloosa County on April 3, 2007, and is serving a twenty year sentence for theft. Woods’ expiration of sentence date is scheduled for September 16, 2026, with a possible parole date in February, 2015.
