As FFA week comes to an end, Wiregrass students take a trip to Landmark Park to learn about the future of farming.
150 students from across the Wiregrass attended the specialty crop-training demonstration and workshop.
Tunnel houses and micro-irrigation and plastics were the topics of today's discussion.
Program organizers wanted students interested in farming.
"This is one of the gaps we are experiencing most of the schools that have people doing the FFA don't have students exposed to the new technology of farming," said James Currington.
Ag officials are working on putting one tunnel house in every school district in the Wiregrass.
