The Headland Municipal Court will have its first ever amnesty court.
The court will allow people who have warrants for failure to appear or failure to pay, to come in and take care of their cases and make payment arrangements without having to be arrested.
The court will take place on Nov. 7th at the Headland Municipal Court.
"It gives them the opportunity to clear things up and not have yo worry everyday looking over their shoulder wondering if today is the day they are going to get hauled off to jail and it's really mean for a second chance and it really clears up the backlog the court has and it helps by clearing up some warrants and overall housekeeping really," said Crystal Gibson, Headland city clerk.
If you are interested in being placed on the docket you can contact the Headland Municipal Court Magistrate Kim Roland at 334-693-2037.
