UPDATE: Columbia Gas Station Now Open

Hazmat tested the air twice, both tests came back negative. The store has been aired out and is now back open.
A hazmat team responded to a Columbia gas station after a strange odor caused people to feel sick.

The Valero Convenience store, on the corner of Church and Washington Street, closed early on Monday due to the smell. A sticky substance was also discovered in a cooler.
