The man responsible for poisoning the Toomer's Corner trees at Auburn University didn't show up in court today.
Harvey Updyke Jr. was supposed to be there for a restitution hearing.
That hearing would determine how much he'll owe the university for the damage.
He poisoned the trees after the 2010 iron bowl.
The District Attorney’s office wants him to pay $1.35 million.
Prosecutors claim that covers the University's actual and projected costs associated with the poisoning.
Updyke is serving five years of probation since his release from jail.
