Dothan, AL - Riders rev their engines for a good cause in Dothan.
Saturday morning, Hardee's restaurants around the wiregrass kicked off its 4th annual “Ride for Hope.”
The threat of rain didn't keep the people away. More than one hundred riders traveled to each restaurant collecting stamps.
For every completed card, the riders could win cash prizes.
But the real winner is The Wiregrass Hope Group.
“It's a great fundraiser for us. It's a way for us to get information out there about what the Wiregrass Hope Group does that people might not normally hear. Our normal supporters are individuals and churches, so this is a way to open it up to other people to learn what we do. We started as a pregnancy resource center 30 years ago. We've grown as we've seen the needs of our clients,” said Wiregrass Hope Group Marketing Director Sharon Sizemore.
