Dozens in the Wiregrass are looking for help with their energy bills.

Today, residents filled the Westgate Rec Center in Dothan. That is where the Human Resources Development Center (HRDC) held a sign up event for low income families.

The center received extra funding this year to help people with rising energy costs.

Many in line say this offer could not have come at a better time.

There are opportunities for other Wiregrass residents to apply.
