MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) -- A state organization is offering $3,000 in prizes in a video contest for public school students.
The Alabama Association of School Boards is holding its third annual contest for students to make videos that highlight public schools and experiences that inspire students to graduate.
The contest was only open to high school students in the past, but this year it's open to students in grades six through 12.
The winning entry gets prizes including $1,500 and a video camera.
The association will begin accepting entries in February
