TITUSVILLE, Florida A 31-year-old woman died after a struggle inside a Brevard County home ended with the homeowner stabbing the intruder to death.

Police say Loletha Ann Davis died Monday after being taken to the hospital with head injuries and a stab wound to the chest.

The homeowner, who police have only identified as a grandmother,
told authorities Davis is the daughter of a family friend.

Police said Davis knocked on the door then began attacking the woman inside the home. The victim told police she grabbed a knife and used it to defend herself. A second woman in the home pulled Davis off the grandmother.

An investigation continues but police say no criminal charges are expected.

If the homeowner opens her door after hearing a young lady yelling for help, how do you as a person classify stabbing a lady several times ,then call her an intruder. Furthermore, you being a close friend to her mother. Loletha Ann Davis 31, died in the hand of people who were evil, and are evil. The florida police Department needs to investigate fur ther into this terriable crime .It sounds like a setup on the part of the indivuals, who were seeking revenge, and found an opportunity in doing so.This type of crime cannot be tolerated nor overlooked!!!!
