Governor Riley Appoints Phil Riddick to Madison County Commission

MONTGOMERY – Governor Bob Riley appointed Phil Riddick to the Madison County Commission on Tuesday. A seat on the commission became vacant due to the election of former Commissioner Mo Brooks to the U.S. House of Representatives.

“Phil Riddick will do an outstanding job for the people of Madison County,” said Governor Riley. “He has the professional experience, the community involvement and the dedication to public service that make him the best choice for this important position.”

Riddick has more than 25 years of sales experience in the real estate, computer and industrial supply industries in Huntsville. He currently works at Bill Poole Realty, a commercial real estate brokerage.

“I am honored and humbled by this appointment. Huntsville/Madison County is the best place in the world to live and raise a family. I will be so proud to serve this community in this capacity,” said Riddick.

Riddick is an Ambassador for the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce and vice president of the Huntsville Metro Kiwanis Club. He served as chairman of the South Huntsville Civic Association Political Action Committee and as a past board member of the Madison County Republican Men’s Club.
