Geneva County Roads Almost All Back Open

Traffic in Geneva County is almost back to normal.

Geneva Flooding

Parts of the Wiregrass were hit hard with severe flooding earlier this year.

One county, known for its many dirt roads, was devastated by the heavy rains.

But, now, traffic in Geneva County is almost back to normal.

All but one road is back open to drivers after being closed for flooding.

Nearly 100 roads were shut down back in February.

The state contributed $750,000 to the county for repairs.

Engineer Justin Barfield says at this time only Corner Creek Road and Bridge in the Flat Creek community remains closed.
