TALLADEGA, Ala. (AP) -- Republican presidential candidate and
former pizza executive Herman Cain is making a two-day campaign
swing through Alabama.
Cain's schedule includes a talk to a tea party group in Anniston
and a public rally in Talladega on Friday, followed by another tea
party speech in Birmingham. He'll file stop at the state GOP
headquarters in Homewood and make an appearance in Montgomery.
On Saturday, Cain is scheduled to participate in a west Alabama
straw poll in Tuscaloosa and tailgate at a Samford football game in
suburban Birmingham. Later he will speak to Republican women at a
gathering in Huntsville.
State GOP chairman Bill Armistead says he wants as many
Republicans as possible to hear Cain around the state. It's Cain's
second visit to the state since July.
