GOP Candidates Square Off in Alabama and Mississippi Primaries

The Republican candidates for President will square off Tuesday in Alabama and Mississippi.

There are 84 delegates at stake.

Mitt Romney says the Republican party is doomed if it doesn't choose a nominee before the convention.

Rick Santorum is coming off of a big win Saturday in the Kansas caucus.

Political watchers say Newt Gingrich needs to do well in the South to keep his hopes alive.

He won big in his home state of Georgia last week.

Ron Paul hasn't campaigned over the past week in either Alabama or Mississippi, so it doesn't appear he will be much of a factor in those primaries.

American Samoa and Hawaii are also holding caucuses Tuesday.
