The National Weather Service office in Tallahassee has placed much of the Wiregrass under a freeze watch for Tuesday and Wednesday night.
Forecasters say that temperatures could dip into the lower 30s on Tuesday night and even colder than that on Wednesday night.
The main time for the coldest air would be near sunrise Wednesday morning and in the overnight hours Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
These conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
