But the business is back up and running and this time people can see the cakes that are being designed.
The owner, Tara Wilson says her original spot downtown had too much un-used space.
So she has moved her business into Colby’s restaurant, which gave her just the right amount of room she was looking for.
"I really needed something that was more conducive to what i do for a living which is mostly specialty cakes. It gave me more visibility but just a much smaller working space." Foster Street Bakery owner Tara Wilson said.
She says the traffic into her shop has been great.
She is even collaborating with oak and olive to bring new desserts and breads to their menu.
