Farley Nuclear Plant is preparing for a potentially dangerous situation.
Wednesday, April 23, the plant will be having a hostile action drill.
There will be emergency vehicles as well as incident command trucks near the plant.
Emergency officials warn a few streets may be closed, just like in a real emergency situation.
"It is protect the citizens that live around that nuclear plant and the possibility of what could take place this doesn't necessarily mean there will be a release of any radioactivity of any kind," said Steve Carlisle, director of the Houston County/Dothan Emergency Management.
FEMA and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission will be grading the drill.
They will release the results on Friday, April 25.
