A small Florida border town is finding "big bucks" in a legendary monster that roamed the countryside and terrorized its residents in the early 20th-century.
Several two-toed-tom festival fundraisers will be held in northern Holmes county.
Esto has made a likeness of the giant alligator as its town logo.
Next April, Esto will host its second annual Two Toed Tom Street Festival.
The event helps bring in needed revenue.
"He's awesome. We have a replica of him at city hall and we put him at the Christmas and all the parades, he's about 14-foot long," said Esto resident Darlene Madden.
Legend has it that Two Toed Tom was eventually killed in Esto after his terrorizing reign.
