Enterprise Man Arrested for Failure to Register as Sex Offender

Members of the Enterprise Police Department have arrested a local man for failure to register as a sex offender and failure to provide documentation to authorities. Randy Lee Mcneal, 27 of Enterprise was arrested yesterday and placed into the Coffee County Jail on a $30,000.00 bond. Mcneal had recently been released from the Alabama Department of Corrections. Sex offenders are required by law to register with local authorities and provide specific information regarding place of residence and employment.

    good for him! Based on the original 2002 United States Supreme Court decison. the entire current registry system is ILLEGAL on it's face! read it for yourself http://www.law.cornell.edu/supct/html/01-729.ZS.html notice this part especially! "Also unavailing is that court’s assertion that the periodic update requirement imposed an affirmative disability. The Act, on its face, does not require these updates to be made in person. The holding that the registration system is parallel to probation or supervised release is rejected because, in contrast to probationers and supervised releasees, offenders subject to the Act are free to move where they wish and to live and work as other citizens, with no supervision."

      These people need the law to know where they are just in case a parent catches one of them with their child and the pervert goes missing.At least the law will have a starting point in which to start looking for the pervert. Perverts have parents also, and they would be upset also if their child would go missing all of a sudden.
