A multi-agency training exercise was held Saturday at Enterprise High School.
The training was focused mostly around mass casualty incidents, such as a school shooting.
Its purpose is to keep Enterprise responders alert to the cause.
This is the first time that Enterprise emergency personnel have conducted this type of training at Enterprise High School.
The Police Department, Fire Department, Emergency Management Agency, and local hospital were all involved.
Lennis Darby, an Enterprise Police Administrative Captain, commented that "The exercise [Saturday] is an active shooter exercise. There will be active shooters inside a portion of the high school building and we have role players that will play the part of victims and the shooters. And then the responders will have to act appropriately to the situation."
Enterprise emergency responders have already conducted a similar exercise at Enterprise State Community College.
