Enterprise High School is rallying behind pediatric cancer research.
Today school leaders presented a $1,000 thousand dollar check to Brendan Franco's family.
The school raised the money during a home football game last fall.
Brendan was 13 when he passed away in September, 2012 after having fought lung and liver cancer.
The young boy wanted to help other children suffering from pediatric cancer.
So he had the idea to create the Brendan Franco Foundation, fundraising for t-cell research.
To date they have raised $50,000 for research.
