On December 31, 2010 the Dothan Police Department responded to a report of two subjects impersonating police officers. The person reporting called police and advised he was pulled over by a white unmarked vehicle with flashing blue lights which he assumed was a police officer. The witness said that after pulling over in the parking lot of Wal-Mart, rather than being approached by an officer, he was then passed by the vehicle which was occupied by two males laughing. The witness called police while observing the vehicle and patrolmen were able to stop the vehicle in the 2100 block of Westgate Parkway. An investigator responded to the scene and had the vehicles driver and passenger taken to the Police Department for further questioning.
