On August 2, 2012 the Dothan Police Department responded a domestic assault at a residence in the 800 block of Tacoma Street. Upon arrival, police learned Deborah Denise Jones attacked her boyfriend stabbing him in his back before fleeing from the residence. A police canine was used to successfully track the suspect who was located and taken into custody. Investigators said the victim received treatment at a local hospital for his injury which was not life threatening.

•Deborah Denise Jones, black female, 46 years of age, of Tacoma Street was arrested and charged with Second Degree Domestic Violence with a $30,000 bond.
