If you don't have a designated driver tonight, it could cost you big time.
Houston County deputies and Dothan police are setting up check-points across the circle city.
They say they won't only check drivers for intoxication but proper ID's as well.
In the US an average DUI means jail time and costs anywhere from $3,000 to $10,000.
“We'll have an increased patrol presence on the streets tonight--to identify impaired drivers. We don't want people to drink and drive, we want them to make it home safely,” said Sgt. Tim Ellison.
If you find yourself without a DD, AAA and Eagle Towing are providing free services tonight.
