DOTHAN, AL - On February 4, 2013 the Dothan Police Department responded to a firearm assault that occurred in the vicinity of Ussery Homes. The victim, an adult male was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening gun shot wound to his leg. The victim said while in the vicinity of Ussery Homes he was shot by an unknown suspect while sitting in a parked vehicle. The victim described the shooter as a black male in all black clothing with a white bandana over his face and stated that the suspect was approximately five foot nine inches tall and weighed approximately one hundred and fifty pounds.
