Gaines Grimsley, Jr.

DOTHAN, AL - On December 23, 2012 the Dothan Police Department responded to a domestically motivated shooting. Due to the sensitive nature of the case limited details are being released however investigators say Gaines Grimsley Junior was arrested for shooting the victim during an altercation. Police say the victim, a woman with whom Grimsley formerly had a relationship, was treated at a local hospital for a gunshot wound in the hand.

•Gaines Grimsley Junior, black male, 67 years of age, of Dena Drive was arrested and charged with First Degree Domestic Violence with a $60,000 bond. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
