The Dothan Civic Center will soon get a face lift.
Tuesday city commissioners agreed to enter into a contract with Marty Robbins Roofing Company, INC.
The company will repair the civic center's roof after damage it received sometime last year.
The project is estimated to cost more than $341,000.
This city has to pay a $50,000 deductible and the insurance company will cover the remaining balance.
"About 6 to 8 months ago during an inspection we found that the roof had hail damage
we contacted our insurance company and it was covered under our liability insurance policy," said Dothan City Manager Mike West.
The work may began within the next 60 days.
