Domino World Championship to be Held in Andalusia

Andalusia, AL - The 36th annual Domino World Championship is expected to draw a big crowd to Andalusia next weekend.

Next Friday and Saturday domino players will compete for cash prizes at the Kiwanis Center.

At least 200 people are signed up now, but you still have time to enter.

It's a $30 fee.

You can play singles or doubles, but beware the competition is fierce.

“These people are serious. There's this little guy that comes and wears a hat and he has on the hat a domino and fear the hat. These domino players are very, very serious,” said Tom Goodspeed, Rotary Club Member.

The tournament has featured celebrities in the past including University of Alabama football coach Paul 'Bear' Bryant.
