District 4 Election Tuesday

However officials say it’s important to go out and vote even though there is only one person running.
Every time there is one person running, it doesn’t mean they will automatically be elected.
There are spots where people can write in another candidate.
"its important for people in district four to go out and vote. Every time we have an election we have people write in weird names, Mickey mouse, Donald duck, and we would just hate for Mickey mouse to get elected to the county commission." Houston County Chairman Mark Culver said.

Officials expect a small turnout because they think residents who already voted for McClendon will not feel they have to vote again.
And with this type of election there is always a low voter count, so officials encourage everyone in district four to vote on Tuesday.
