A Dale County man has been arrested in Louisiana.
37-year-old Bryan Yates of Daleville was pulled over for reportedly following another vehicle too closely on Interstate 10.
When Louisiana State Troopers asked Yates to exit his car, he reportedly sped away.
Troopers chased Yates through three parishes before he crashed into back of a truck. After the crash, Yates tried to run from troopers but was arrested a few feet from his car.
Authorities believe he may have been under the influence of drugs at the time.
Yates faces several charges, including following too close, speeding, aggravated assault and possession of crack cocaine.
